We haven't updated you guys in our tree planting efforts over the last few months. Proceeds from every coconut bowl go towards this program and we couldn't do it without your help.
We have completed our greenhouse at Maleny on the sunshine coast and are in the process or germinating varieties of seed foraged from the local area. We have had some really great successes and some spectacular failures and we are learning everyday.
We have planted over 1,000 trees and shrubs in the Maleny, Montville, Woodford area on the Sunshine Coast with a focus on species that create habitat for local wildlife and food for the local Koala population which has been in decline.
Australia’s bush and forests need active management in order to improve their health, protect wildlife, and reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfires in the future.
Our projects work with local landowners and environmental organisations to improve the health of Australian forest and bush lands.
We have planted more than 8,000 native trees & understory to improve biodiversity, combat salinity and soil erosion.
There is still lots to do, and with your help we pledge to do as much as we can to bring a bit of nature back to neglected and cleared farm land.
