- Glass Jar
The first step is to place the shea butter, coconut and jojoba oil in a bowl made of glass so that you can melt it over a saucepan of hot water. Mix all the oils together and then place it into the fridge so that the mixture goes solid. It is recommended to use a hand mixer though you can also use a spoon to mix the essential oils into the butter until it is soft. Simply store the butter in a glass jar with a lid and keep it at room temperature.
Deodorant Paste:
- ½ Cup of Coconut Oil
- ½ Cup of Baking Soda
- 30-40 drops of Essential Oils of your own choice (recommended to use sage, rosemary, lemon)
This is a simple deodorant mixture where you place the coconut oil and baking soda into a bowl and mix them together. Once combined add the essential oils and store the paste in a glass jar.
Insect Spray:
- ½ Cup of Witch Hazel
- ½ Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
- Essential Oils of eucalyptus, citronella, tea tree and lemongrass (30 drops)
