This smoothie recipe is easy, delicious, healthy, colourful and the best way I know to clean out my refrigerator at the end of the week.
Smoothies are a great way to quickly and easily increase your fresh produce intake.
They can be enjoyed as a snack or for breakfast or lunch and are perfect for adding in super-foods, supplements, or other nutrient dense boosters.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries (or berries of your choice!)
- 3/4 cup fresh watermelon
- 1/4 cup Coconut Water
- 4 Ice Cubes
- Fresh Mint
METHOD
- In a blender, place all ingredients together and blend until smooth. If necessary add in more coconut water until you get a nice thick smoothie consistency.
- Pour into your coconut bowl and enjoy on it's own or add your fav fruit toppings.
Tip: Adding a scoop of protein powder will further help curb cravings, boost energy and sustain you throughout the day!
