Tasty Post Workout Smoothie


One of the best times to enjoy a protein shake or smoothie is after a tough workout.


Not only are they quick to make, but they’re also packed with protein to help your muscles to repair, ready for your next workout.

Whether you've got a serious workout routine or are just starting to flirt with fitness, one of the most important things to think about is what to eat or drink before after you exercise.

What's more, a high-protein diet can also help curve cravings for unhealthy snack foods, like potato chips and chocolate.

This banana and honey smoothie only takes 1 minute to create and will keep you energised for hours.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • Milk of your choice. (we use almond)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla protein powder

METHOD

  1. Add all the ingredients to your blender
  2. Blend for 30 seconds. Use the pulse option to get every bit of the frozen banana.
  3. Enjoy immediately in your coconut cups and sip with a bamboo straw.
