Malted Banana Smoothie
Take a trip to the malt shop with this healthy smoothie recipe that's a twist on an old favourite. Perfect for an after school snack, or a great way to start your work day.
In fact, it is one of our favourite breakfast options to get the day started off right. Also! Unlike other smoothies that are packed with 10 different fruits, powders and other ingredients, this smoothie only needs 5 things - plus ice.
We had a late lunch today so I made this smoothie for a light dinner tonight. It was nice and filling and we just loved the flavour.
- 1 frozen banana
- ⅔ cup almond milk
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 3 Tbsp. Malt powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Vanilla Veego Protein Powder (optional)
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Serve in a coconut cup or bamboo cup and enjoy right away.
Sip with a bamboo straw to make this smoothie taste even more refreshing.
