Try this coconut bowl lamington smoothie recipe with an Australian flavour twist. It’s Chocolately, it’s coco-nutty and even has a delightful cakey flavour too.
Did you know the lamington was first invented in Queensland, with a recipe appearing in the Queensland Country Life newspaper as early as 1900.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Cashews
- 1/2 cup Quinoa Flakes
- 1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1 tsp Cacao Nibs
- 1 tsp Cocoa
- 1/4 cups Coconut Water
- 4 Ice Cubes
TOPPINGS
- Raspberries
- Coconut Flakes
- Cacao nibs
METHOD
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour finished smoothie into your coconut bowl and add all the toppings!
- Make sure you add frozen raspberries, coconut flakes and cacao nibs for that lamington taste.
