Homemade Tomato Juice

Is Drinking Tomato Juice Good For You?

 

Homemade tomato juice is so rich, delicious, and filling! It tastes so much better than bought tomato juice and probably a lot better for you since you know exactly what is in it.

Did you know that store-bough tomato juice can be VERY high in sodium?

This causes the store-bought juice to lose some of it’s health benefits. By making tomato juice from scratch at home, you have full control over the amount of sodium that is added!

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 ripe tomato's
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Ice Cubes
  • Water
  • Tabasco Sauce (optional)

METHOD

  1. Place the ingredients in a blender or juicer. Pulse on and off and purée until smooth.
  2. If you are using a blender add water to find the right consistency.
  3. Pour into your coconut cup or bamboo cup and enjoy immediately.
