Green Smoothie Coconut Bowl Recipe

Get your greens in before you even leave the house in the morning, with this everyday green smoothie!

I promise you, this recipe will not scare you off of green smoothies. Even if you don’t think you like green smoothies.

Drink one of these everyday and your chances of warding off a cold or flu come will be much higher!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups spinach or kale leaves
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 an apple, cored
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • Teaspoon of ginger

I always use coconut water in my smoothies rather than regular water as I love the taste and the extra health benefits it gives. Coconut water has more potassium than a sports drink and has naturally occurring magnesium, sodium, phosphorus and calcium too.

TOPPINGS

  • Goji Berries
  • Coconut flakes
  • Granola

METHOD

  1. Put all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend for 1 minute.
  2. Add your favourite toppings.
  3. Enjoy your daily greens in your fav coconut bowl.
