Good Morning Acai & Banana Smoothie

My Go To Smoothie

Try this yummy vegan shake with acai, the Brazilian super food.

Ready in just a few minutes, this Acai smoothie recipe is filled with acai berry puree, banana, and all your favourite toppings.

The best part about smoothies is the toppings. I’ve been keeping it super simple recently and adding a spoonful of coconut flakes and cocoa nibs for that crunch!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 frozen acai packs
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey

TOPPINGS
  • Cocoa nibs
  • Coconut flakes


METHOD

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth for about 1 minute.
  2. Divide the mixture between your bamboo cups and serve.
  3. Remember to sip sustainably with a bamboo straw!

Tip: You can easily make any acai bowl vegan by skipping the cow milk and yogurt.

Make this smoothie in the evening, pour into cup or mason jar, and store in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning, your breakfast is already made so you can literally just grab it from the fridge.
