This banana & cacao smoothie recipe is one of my all-time favourites!
It’s made with frozen bananas, cacao powder, almond butter and a pinch of cinnamon. You can easily add more cacao powder to make the chocolate flavour even more prominent.
It tastes like dessert, but it’s healthy enough to make for breakfast. If you want to add a little protein to this chocolate shake, just add some Veego plant protein to the mix.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup almond water.
- 1 frozen banana.
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder.
- 2 tablespoons almond butter.
- Pinch of cinnamon.
- 1 serving of chocolate or vanilla protein powder. (optional)
METHOD
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Pour into your bamboo cup or coconut cup and enjoy immediately.
