This mocha breakfast smoothie combines your morning coffee and breakfast together in an on-the-go smoothie!
This recipe is made with cocoa powder, Greek yogurt and instant espresso to create the ultimate protein-packed cafe mocha smoothie recipe.
Smoothies are always a good idea in my book, but, when they also include a little chocolate, a little coffee, and an espresso bean or two, they tend to become my best ideas ever.
This smoothie is full of healthy fats, fibre, protein and just a little caffeine to help jump-start your day. You can feel good about drinking this one down because it is refined sugar-free, vegan, raw and gluten-free.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana
- 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- ⅓ cup chocolate protein protein
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons instant espresso (finely ground)
TOPPINGS (OPTIONAL)
- Cacao nibs
- Chocolate shavings
- Almond flakes
- Nut Butter
METHOD
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender along with 1/2 cup water.
- Then add in ice to thicken.
- Server in your bamboo cup and sip sustainably on your bamboo straw.
