Carrot Cake Smoothie

This carrot smoothie recipe is super healthy, guilt-free and really tasty too. It's loaded with nutrients and bursting with carrot cake flavour.

It's one really tasty breakfast option if you ask me. Sweet, creamy, thick and just beautiful - sometimes a smoothie just hits the spot. This Carrot Cake Smoothie is packed with veggies and that classic dessert taste we all love - but without all the extra sugar.

Adding carrot to a smoothie might sound strange, but trust me, it’s delicious! This delicious, creamy carrot cake smoothie is so easy to make! simply add all of our ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 pitted date
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1/2-1 cup almond milk (Feel free to use any milk you’d like)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (Veego)

  1. Add all the ingredients into your blender and whiz until smooth.
  2. Pour in your coconut cup or bamboo cup and add toppings.

Using frozen fruit is best as it helps keeps the smoothie cold and thick. Sometimes ice doesn’t blend as well, so it’s best to skip unless absolutely necessary.

If your smoothie doesn't taste sweet enough for your liking, you can add a 1/2 tablespoon of honey, pure maple syrup or more pitted Medjool dates.
